March 27 (SeeNews) - Albania will offer a combined 12.2 billion leks ($97.9 million/90.1 million euro) worth of six-month and one-year Treasury bills at an auction on April 4, the central bank said in a notice posted on its website.
Albania will offer 4 billion leks in six-month securities. At the latest similar auction on March 7, the finance ministry sold 2.7 billion leks, as the average weighted yield of the issue fell to 1.7% from 2.01% previously.
According to the announcement, Albania will offer also 8.2 billion leks in one-year T-bills. Last week, the ministry sold 9.2 billion leks of one-year bills, as demand exceeded supply moderately. The government securities carried an average weighted yield of 2.03%, down from 2.46% previously.
