March 28 (SeeNews) - The government of Albania said it has approved permit applications from two local renewable energy developers for two solar projects near the central town of Fier with capacities of 40.56 MW and 30 MW, respectively.
Albania Power Core is set to develop the 40.56 MW-capacity photovoltaic (PV) plant in the Sheq Marinas village, within three years, the government said in a decisions notice. It can operate the plant for 49 years.
In the Povelce village, Alb Sun Energy is set to build the 30 MW PV plant within 60 months, and also operate it for 49 years.
Both companies have been established in 2022.
