July 20 (SeeNews) - All but one of the main indices on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) closed in positive territory on Wednesday, with the blue-chip SOFIX increasing the most, 1.16% to 609.59 points, bourse data showed.
Energy and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:EUBG] gained the most out of the blue-chips, rising 7% to 2.14 levs with 470 shares traded.
Eurohold's performance as well as a 8.21% jump in Agria Group Hold [BUL:AGH] to 30.30 levs led to the BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, both closing higher on the third day of the trading week.
The BGBX40 advanced 1.10% to 142.21 points, whereas the BGTR30 added 0.59% to 737.58 points.
Agria Group was also the most liquid stock on the day, generating % of the main market's total turnover as 3,802 company shares changed hands at an average price of 29.62 levs.
Total turnover on the BSE's main market continued to decline this week, reaching 364,929 levs ($190,573/186,585 euro) compared to 373,768 levs on Tuesday.
The BGREIT index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, was the only one to finish in the red, ticking down 0.16% to 187.67 points. The decline of the index was due to a 1.01% slump in Intercapital Property Development REIT [BUL:ICPD] to 0.99 levs as well as a 0.80% decrease in Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:BREF] to 2.48 levs.
