October 16 (SeeNews) - Belgrade airport operator Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] generated the highest turnover on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Tuesday, as share indices ended down, bourse data showed.
A total of 1,127 of Aerodrom's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 1.9 million dinars. The company closed up 0.30% at 1,665 dinars.
Soybean processing company Sojaprotein [BEL:SJPT] led the blue-chip gainers' list, as it won 14.81% and closed at 155 dinars. A total of 25 of the lender's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 3,875 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade bourse, went down 0.99% to 731.14 points on Tuesday. The index rose 0.84% on Monday.
The broader BELEXline, a free‐float market capitalisation weighted index, fell 0.26% to 1,534.56 points on Tuesday, after decreasing 0.06% on Monday.
Lender Komercijalna banka [BEL:KMBN] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell 5.62% to 1,980 dinars.
The total stock trading turnover on the bourse fell to 4.6 million dinars ($45,064/38,912 euro) on Tuesday from 39.5 million dinars on Monday, as 123 share transactions were carried out. Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the bourse came in at 432,465 dinars.
Trading in Treasury bonds contributed 255,400 dinars to the total turnover of 4.9 million dinars on the bourse.
