June 3 (SeeNews) - Greek carrier Aegean Airlines launched seasonal flights from Athens to Bosnia and Herzegovina's Sarajevo on June 1, the Bosnian airport operator said.
The service to Sarajevo will operate twice per week, Tuesdays and Saturdays, until the end of September, the operator of the international airport in Sarajevo said in a press release on Sunday.
Passenger numbers at the Sarajevo International Airport came in at 1.36 million in 2023, slightly down compared with 1.38 million a year earlier.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has three other international airports, located in Banja Luka, Tuzla and Mostar.
