SKOPJE (North Macedonia), July 17 (SeeNews) – A1 Telekom Austria Group said the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of one.Vip, its subsidiary in North Macedonia, rose 9.4% on the year to 22.0 million euro ($24.7 million) on a proforma basis in the first half of 2019.
One.Vip's total revenues increased 3.4% year-on-year to 59.6 million euro, Telekom Austria said in a first-half financial statement published on Tuesday.
Service revenues increased by 2.9% to 48.9 million euro, while mobile service revenues added 4.5% to 36.6 million euro.
In the second quarter alone, one.VIP’s EBITDA fell 5.8% year-on-year to 10.9 million euro, while revenues decreased 1.0% to 29.3 million euro.
The number of the company's wireless subscribers edged up 0.2% year-on-year to 1.08 million at the end of June.
one.Vip competes with T-Mobile Macedonia, part of Deutsche Telekom, on a market of some two million people.
