October 30 (SeeNews) - A1 Croatia, a subsidiary of A1 Telekom Austria Group, plans to launch its 5G network by the beginning of December, local media reported.
A1 Croatia, the second largest telecom company in the Adriatic state, will launch 5G network services based on Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) technology in more than 70 cities, state news agency Hina reported on Thursday, citing company information.
Also on Thursday, the country's top telecom provider - Hrvatski Telekom (HT) [ZSE:HT], said it became the first operator in Croatia to launch commercial 5G network services. They are available in parts of the capital Zagreb, the costal cities of Rijeka and Split, the eastern city of Osijek, and the towns of Samobor and Sveta Nedelja located in the Zagreb county.
