The industry's total revenue was BGN 3,686,000 in 2016, up by 14.12% compared to the previous year.
The combined costs of the companies in the Libraries, archives, museums and other cultural activities industry reached BGN 3,203,000 in 2016, up by 13.66% year-on-year.
A total of 54 people were employed in the Libraries, archives, museums and other cultural activities industry in 2016, compared to 60 in 2015 and 66 in 2014.
Most of the companies in the industry are based in Sofia, followed by Plovdiv and Burgas.
