October 5 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) rose on Monday, with consumer goods distributor Atlantic Grupa [ZSE:ATGR] leading the blue-chip gainers, bourse data showed.
Atlantic Grupa's shares added 0.83%, closing at 1,220 kuna, ZSE data showed.
Telecommunication services provider Optima Telekom [ZSE:OPTE] paced the blue-chip losers. Its share price fell 0.66% to 4.54 kuna.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT] generated the largest turnover among the blue chips on Monday, of 342,495 kuna. Its shares closed at 177 kuna, up 0.28%.
Five of the ten blue-chip companies on the ZSE rose on Monday, two fell, two closed flat and one did not trade.
The ZSE's total trading turnover dropped to 2 million kuna ($311,500/264,000 euro), from 4.7 million kuna on Friday.
The bourse's 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 0.23% to 1,612.59 on Monday after edging up 0.03% on Friday.
The narrower of the ZSE's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased by 0.39% to 1,006.94 after adding 0.01% on Friday.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed flat at 112.33.
