January 7 (SeeNews) - The Croatian share indices lost ground on Thursday as total daily turnover rose, bourse data indicated.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index of the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) fell 0.71% to 1,649.99 points after closing down 0.36% on Tuesday.
The ZSE was closed for a public holiday on Wednesday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, closed down 0.91% at 966.41.
ZSE's total turnover rose to 6.3 million kuna ($894,000/825,000 euro) from 5.8 million kuna on Tuesday.
Hrvatski Telekom [ZSE:HT-R-A] generated the session's biggest turnover of 1.2 million kuna, closing down 0.01% at 141.01 kuna.
Radio broadcasting equipment maker RIZ Odasiljaci [ZSE:RIZO-R-A] led the CROBEX decliners, shedding 6.79% to 106.25 kuna.
Diversified conglomerate Djuro Djakovic Holding [ZSE:DDJH-R-A] led the CROBEX gainers, advancing 8.85% to 28.54 kuna.
The fixed-income CROBIS index was up 0.01% to 105.059 points.
