December 18 (SeeNews) - The Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) said on Wednesday it has acquired a 5.3% ownership stake in the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE).
ZSE has bought 148 MSE shares at 1,000 euro ($1,113) each, it said in a statement.

The transaction was funded by ZSE's own funds.
Sparkasse Bank Makedonija was the largest shareholder in the Macedonian Stock Exchange at the end of 2018, controlling a 15.97% stake. It was followed by Skopje-based lenders Komercijalna Banka and TTK Banka with 9.99% each, Stopanska Banka with 9.92% and Eurostandard Banka with 9.89%, MSE data showed.
