June 22 (SeeNews) - Medical insurance company ZAD Bulgaria has signed a partnership agreement with UK-based medical insurer AXA PPP Healthcare to create a new private healthcare insurance product, ZAD Bulgaria's CEO said.
The new product, named "health without boundaries", will allow clients to use their insurance in foreign countries, ZAD Bulgaria's CEO Plamen Markov told local broadcaster Bloomberg TV Bulgaria earlier this week.
Initially, the product will target managers of larger companies in Bulgaria.
"It will not be a luxury service, and it will become more affordable for consumers," Markov noted.
AXA PPP Healthcare offers a range of health insurance policies for individuals and businesses. The comapny services over 50 million customers throughout the world. In total, the group has approximately 110,000 employees and distributors worldwide, working in more than 50 countries.
