Petrocom D&V has been Vodafone Romania's exclusive dealer since January 2001. It operates 55 stores in 25 counties.
“This acquisition supports Vodafone Romania’s strategy for constant development of its distribution network countrywide. The strong presence of Petrocom in most of the country’s regions as well as its experience as an exclusive distributor of Vodafone’s products and services were important factors for this transaction,” Vodafone Romania CEO Liliana Solomon said in the statement.
Vodafone Romania ( www.vodafone.ro ) had 8.223 million customers at the end of June.
