December 28 (SeeNews) - Croatian hospitality company Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] topped the blue-chip gainers' list on the Zagreb Stock Exchange (ZSE) on Friday as the bourse's main indices closed higher, bourse data showed.
Valamar Riviera's shares closed 5.46% higher at 36.70 kuna.
On the opposite end of the table, Croatian electrical equipment manufacturer Koncar Elektroindustrija [ZSE:KOEI] paced the blue-chip decliners, as its share price decreased by 2.73% to 535.0 kuna.
Valamar Riviera [ZSE:RIVP] generated the highest trading turnover of 3.0 million kuna. The company closed up 5.46% at 36.70 kuna.
The bourse's total turnover was boosted on Friday by a block trade in shares of metal producer Metalska Industrija Varazdin [ZSE:MIV], totalling 13.3 million kuna.
The bourse's total trading turnover increased to 23.2 million kuna ($3.5 million/3.1 million euro) on Friday from 15.9 million kuna on Thursday.
The 25-share benchmark CROBEX index rose 0.66% to 1,748.81 points, after going up 0.57% on Thursday.
The narrower of the bourse's two blue-chip indices, the CROBEX10, which tracks the leading companies in terms of free float, market capitalisation and liquidity, increased 0,91% to 1,017.07 points, after increasing 0,23% in the previous trading session.
The fixed-income CROBIS index closed up 0,01% at 110,9887 points.
