November 26 (SeeNews) - U.S broadband access supplier Occam said it has signed Slovenia's Optisis as a system integrator and reseller for Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Hungary.
The move is part of Occam EMEA's growth strategy targeting select regions with growth in fibre-to-the-premises (FTTP) broadband, the U.S. company said in a statement earlier this week.
"We are delighted that Optisis, a regional expert in FTTP system integration, is joining our growing EMEA reseller network," VP of Marketing at Occam Networks, Russ Sharer, said in the statement.
"We see the partnership with Occam as very strategic for our FTTx business going forward," Optisis Technical Director and Chief Technology Officer Bojan Bozic said.
Occam Networks' broadband access solutions empower service providers to offer profitable new voice, data and video services over copper and fibre.
Maribor-based Optisis (www.optisis.si) supplies integrated optical access solutions, ranging from advisory and equipment distribution services to telecommunication system engineering services.
