March 15 (SeeNews) - Turkish car parts manufacturer Teklas Automotive officially opened a factory in Serbia's southern city of Vranje, it said.
Teklas plans to employ some 1,500 workers at the plant, CEO Nebi Anil said, as seen in a video posted on the YouTube channel of the Tanjug news agency on Monday.

The company's first facility in Serbia was opened in the town of Vladicin Han in 2016, and it hires some 1,000 workers, he added.
"We hope to have 250 million euro turnover," Anil said, referring to the combined yearly turnover of both plants.
Accoridng to the Teklas website, the firm operates ten plants in Germany, the United States, Mexico, France, Serbia, and Turkey.
Elsewhere in Southeastern Europe, Teklas operates a factory in Bulgaria's Kardzhali.
