November 16 (SeeNews) - Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss) plans to launch a third weekly flight from Serbia's eastern city of Nis to Zurich as of June 20, flight schedule data on the company's website shows.
The third flight will be operated on Wednesdays, increasing the frequency of the service which is currently offered on Fridays and Sundays, and tickets are already available for sale.
Earlier this year, the director of the Lufthansa Group for the markets of Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Slovenia, Bernhard Vodl, said the Nis-Zurich flights represent a big success for Swiss.
The company started operating the Nis-Zurich route with a single weekly flight on April 2 and then added a second flight in its winter schedule.
The company also operates a regular flight from Zurich to the Serbian capital Belgrade.
