July 21 (SeeNews) - Spanish company Grupo Hotusa has taken over the management of the Lev, uHotel and Union hotels of Slovenian real estate company Equinox [LJE:EQNX], the Slovenian firm said.
Equinox signed on June 16 an agreement with Grupo Hotusa for the lease-out of the hotels, located in Ljubljana, and all conditions for the entry of the deal into force were met on July 18, the real estate company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday.
Last month, Slovenian media reported Equinox agreed to lease out the hotels to Grupo Hotusa for 20 years.
Slovenia's Axor Holding is Equinox's majority shareholder with a 75.5% stake, followed by state-owned company Kapitalska Druzba with 18.75%. The remainder is owned by a number of minority shareholders.
Equinox, established on May 3, 2021, was the first real estate joint-stock company to join the Slovenian equity market. On January 31, 1,793,869 of its shares were listed on the standard market segment of the LJSE.
