June 18 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian Stock Exchange indices closed higher on Tuesday amid a sharp drop in turnover, bourse data shows.
Total regulated market turnover fell to 142,000 levs ($81,000/73,000 euro) on Tuesday from 541,000 levs on Monday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index advanced 0.15% to 578.05 points, as Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] and Industrial Holding Bulgaria [BUL:4ID] rose most among its members, by 1.08% and 1.00%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index and the equally-weighted BGTR30 index also closed in green, backed by a 8.11% spike in the share price of Severcoop Gamza Holding [BUL:6S4].
The BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the stock exchange in Sofia, rose 0.12% to 115.21 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, gained 0.36% to 504.78 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, closed the session unchanged at 123.16 points.
