Neochim also set back the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, by 0.25% to 162.03 points. The constituent that lost the most, however, was diversified group Synergon Holding [BUL:SNRG], which shed 17.98% to 1.46 levs.
The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, posted the day's biggest decline, at 0.63% to 805.13 points. It was dragged down by the losses at Neochim and Eurohold, along with a 2.03% fall in software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SGH] to 0.725 levs.
A 4.46% slip in real estate investment trust Sopharma Buildings REIT [BUL:SFB] to 15.00 levs hit the BGREIT, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts. The index ended the session 0.25% lower at 190.20 points.
The BEAMX index, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, erased 0.47% to 104.10 points on the back of a 15.87% slump in electric vehicle manufacturer Sin Cars Industry [BUL:SIN] to 0.53 levs. In addition, the index was pressed by biometric identification security systems developer Biodit [BUL:BDT], which slid by 4.35% to 1.32 levs.
Total turnover on the main market of the Sofia bourse decreased to 902,119 levs ($500,268/461,244 euro) on Tuesday from 952,963 levs on Monday.
With some 5,860 shares traded, IoT products maker Shelly Group [BUL:SLYG] was the day's top stock by turnover, which came in at 346,912 levs. The company's shares closed 2.42% higher at 59.20 levs.
