April 22 (SeeNews) - Slovenian hand tools manufacturer Unior [LJE:UKIG] said it has put on hold the sale of its tourism unit Unitur, which was launched in December, because of the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Unior expects that the sale process will not resume before September 1, it said in a statement with the Ljubljana bourse on Tuesday.

Back in December, Unior said that the 100% stake in Unitur is to be divested in line with a December 2016 syndicated loan agreement signed by Unior and its creditor banks, under which the company's non-core assets had been determined for sale.
Unitur was established in 2017 after a spin-off of Unior's tourism programme into an independent entity.
Unitur runs spa and hotel operator Terme Zrece and ski centre Rogla, both located in northeast Slovenia.
Unior shares closed down 3.0% at 9.70 euro ($10.5) on the Ljubljana bourse on Tuesday. They did not trade by 1052 CET on Wednesday.
