April 26 (SeeNews) - Slovenian hotel operator Union Hotels Collection [LJSE:GHUG] recorded a net loss of 488,000 euro ($521,900) in 2021, versus a 3.4 million euro net loss reported in the previous year, it said.
Revenue went up to 12 million euro from 8.9 million euro, while expenses grew to 12.3 million euro from 12.1 million euro, Union Hotels said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday.
Net sales revenue went up 45.8% to 8.9 million euro and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) soared to 2.6 million euro from 818,000 euro, Union Hoteli said.
Last year, Union Hotels Collection established Equinox Nepremicnine, a real estate management unit which became the first real estate joint-stock company to join the Slovenian equity market in January 2022. The company transferred its real estate assets to the new unit to focus on its hotel management business and changed its name to Union Hotels Collection from Union Hoteli.
The Union Hoteli group operates the Grand Hotel Union, the Grand Hotel Union Business, the Hotel Lev and the Central Hotel in Ljubljana.
