January 17 (SeeNews) - The Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SSH), the company representing the state's ownership interest in more than fifty companies, plans to examine the possibility for the sale of its 4.25% stake in Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] and 18.7% stake in tourist holding Sava Group in 2022, local media reported.
The non-public part of the annual asset management plan of SSH envisages the examination of the sale of Telekom Slovenije and Sava Group, public broadcaster RTV reported on Friday.

SSH also considers exploring the merger of tourism companies Terme Olimia, Sava Turizem, Istrabenz Turizem, Thermana, Adria Ankaran, Hit Alpinea and the tourist branch of Nova Gorica-based holding Hit into three subsidiaries active in coastal, alpine and spa tourism, RTV reported.
SSH plans to analyse Telekom Slovenije's operations to identify possible activities to increase the value for its shareholders, RTV also said.
Last week, SSH said it expects the return on equity (ROE) of its asset portfolio to decline to 5.0% in 2022 from 5.5% last year, before rising slightly in 2023.
Slovenia's government approved the annual asset management plan of SSH for 2022 at its session on January 13.
