March 3 (SeeNews) - Slovenian pharmaceutical products wholesaler Salus [LJE:SALR] has established a subsidiary in Albania to expand its presence across Southeastern Europe (SEE), it said.
The company, named Carso Pharm, with its registered office in Tirana, was entered in the Albanian register of companies on March 1, Salus said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday.
"The establishment of the new company is in line with the strategy of Salus regarding the expansion of the range of services and presence in Europe," the Slovenian company said.
In December, Salus said it targets a net profit of 8.9 million euro ($9.4 million), net sales of 540 million euro, and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 17 million euro in 2023. Salus reported a consolidated net profit of 9.2 million euro in the first nine months of 2022, down from 10.4 million euro in the same period of the previous year.
