March 18 (SeeNews) - Slovenian energy company Petrol [LJE:PETG] will propose the payment of a dividend of 30 euro ($33.2) per share on 2021 earnings, up from 22 euro paid for the previous year, it said on Friday.
"The supervisory board and the management board will propose the general meeting of Petrol that dividend for 2021 is paid in the amount of 30.0 euro gross per share," the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The dividend amount is set by taking into account the necessary investments, free cash flow, the company’s debt level, development plans, retained earnings from previous years, appropriate net debt-to-EBITDA ratio and liquidity situation, Petrol said.
Petrol recorded a consolidated net profit of 124.5 million euro in 2021, up 72%. The company sales revenue grew by an annual 61% to 4.960 billion euro last year.
