LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 27 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's net electricity production increased by 12% month-on-month to 1,479 GWh in November, while total electricity consumption grew by 6 GWh to 1,209 GWh, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The output of hydro power plants increased by 70%, the output of thermal power plants fell by 3%, while the electricity production of Slovenia's sole nuclear power plant, Krsko, fell by 2% relative to October, the office of statistics said, citing provisional data.

In line with the higher production in thermal power plants, fuel consumption in November 2018 also decreased by 1%.
In November 2018, Slovenia imported 560 GWh of electricity and exported 828 GWh.
