February 26 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's net electricity production decreased 1% month-on-month to 1,357 GWh in January, while total electricity consumption rose 2% to 1,301 GWh, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
The output of the hydro power plants decreased by 15%, the output of the thermal power plants rose by 13% and the production of the nuclear power plant Krsko was unchanged compared to December, the statistical office said, citing provisional data.

Fuel consumption in thermal power plants increased by 5% in January.
Slovenia imported 784 GWh of electricity in January and exported 835 GWh.
