LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), April 19 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in March rose 13% month-on-month to 442, after dropping 39% in February, the office of national statistics said on Wednesday.
A total of 220 permits were issued for residential projects in March, up 9% on the month, while 222 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, a drop of 5%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The total floor area of buildings for which permits were issued in March, was 122,000 sq m, up 25% in comparison with February.
The construction of 316 dwellings was planned, down 1%.
