September 8 (SeeNews) - Slovenian provider of IT solutions and software engineering services Hermes SoftLab said it will deliver a retail electronic banking solution to Croatia's BKS Bank after winning a public procurement procedure.
The value of the contract was not disclosed.
"Services for retail customers will cover functionality from payments and overviews to orders, while the whole system will be tightly integrated to bank’s core banking solution," the Slovenian company said in a statement on its website.
"The flexibility of Hermes SoftLab’s e-banking solution enable custom solutions for all banks disregarding size and business volume and therefore provides our clients in the financial sector with the ability to reach their goals in the area of delivering state-of-the-art financial services online. Hermes SoftLab top-level solutions are the result of rich and long-term experiences in the e-banking field,” Hermes director Gregor Smrekar was quoted as saying in the statement.
Hermes SoftLab (www.hermes-softlab.com) is part of ComTrade Group (www.comtradegroup.com), one of the leaders in the field of information and telecommunication technologies in Southeastern Europe. It comprises companies operating in Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Albania and Macedonia, and employs more than 800. Rijeka-based BKS Bank (www.bks.hr) is part of the Austrian banking group of the same name. It had total assets of 444.7 million kuna ($87.8 million/60.6 million euro) at the end of 2008.
