May 11 (SeeNews) - Slovenian real estate company Equinox [LJE:EQNX] plans to invest 3 million euro ($3.2 million) in a project for the reconstruction of the former Nama department store in Kocevje into a business and residential building, it said on Wednesday.
Equinox will participate in the project as a strategic partner and the entire investment in the reconstruction of the building will amount to 5.5 million euro, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE).
The real estate company did not provide information about its partner or partners in the project.
The project will contribute to solving the housing problem in Kocevje, Equinox said.
Equinox, established on May 3, 2021, was the first real estate joint-stock company to join the Slovenian equity market. On January 31, 1,793,869 of its shares were listed on the standard market segment of the LJSE.
