September 16 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] said on Monday it has repurchased 322 of its own shares for a total of 60,430 euro ($66,600).
Thus, Cinkarna Celje has increased its holding of own shares to 0.8203% of issued share capital from 0.7805%, the company said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
The 322 shares were acquired in a couple of transactions last week. Cinkarna Celje bought back 310 own shares at 187.69 euro each on September 10, and a further 12 shares at 187 euro on September 11.
As of September 16, following the transactions, Cinkarna Celje holds 6,628 own shares.
The decision for the share buyback was approved by the general shareholders' meeting of Cinkarna Celje on June 4.
The company's shares traded flat at 190 euro on Monday.
