LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 20 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in October fell 8.6% month-on-month to 551, the office of national statistics said on Wednesday.
A total of 277 permits were issued for residential projects in October, up 10% compared to September, while 274 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, down 21%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The floor area of the buildings for which permits were issued in October totalled 134,335 sq m, down 2.3% compared to September.
The construction of 324 dwellings was planned in the permits issued in October, up 9.7%.
