October 20 (SeeNews) - The number of building permits issued in Slovenia dropped 10% on the month to 504 in August, the statistics office said on Thursday.
A total of 170 permits were issued for residential buildings in August, representing a 15% drop compared to July, while 334 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, down 7% on the month, the office said in a statement.
The combined area of the buildings for which permits were issued in August stood at 98,658 square meters, down 25% from July.
