November 29 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's aircraft maintenance company Adria Tehnika said it has signed a new five-year cooperation agreement with low-cost air carrier easyJet.
The contract will cover many aspects of the technical maintenance of easyJet's aircraft at Ljubljana Airport, including airframe and component maintenance, line maintenance, on-request support, and numerous tasks that require aircraft mechanics' skills and knowledge, Adria Tehnika said last week in a LinkedIn blog post.
"We are pleased and honoured that one of the leading airlines has once again chosen Adria Tehnika to perform maintenance on its aircraft. Despite the current situation in the aviation industry, we remain focused on achieving the high quality of our services and expanding cooperation with our customers," Adria Tehnika deputy CEO Barbara Perko Brvar said.
Cooperation between Adria Tehnika and easyJet started in 2016, when the Slovenian company provided the reconfiguration of cabins on easyJet’s SpaceFlex cabin modification which enlarged passenger capacity and is one of the leading products in the LCC market in Europe.
