September 1 (SeeNews) - The stock indices on the Slovenian bourse extended their slim gains on Tuesday as volumes fell slightly, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index advanced 0.36% to end at 1,030.43 points after gaining 0.26% on Monday. The broader SBI20 index closed 0.32% higher at 4,160.62 points after a rise of 0.31% in the previous day.
Three of the eight SBITOP components fell, one closed flat and the other four gained ground.
Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor, the nation's second biggest lender by assets, closed unchanged at an average daily price of 11.66 euro ($16.68) in a volume of 1,023 shares.
The top gainer was Pivovarna Lasko, Slovenia's largest brewer, which rose 2.07% to 31 euro as just four stocks were traded.
Fuel retailer Petrol fell the most among the blue chips, ending 0.24% lower at 302.84 euro as 74 shares changed hands.
Drug maker Krka, a blue-chip heavyweight, was the most liquid stock in a volume of 1.9 million euro. Its stock closed 0.55% higher at an average daily price of 72.65 euro.
LJSE's total turnover dropped to 2.37 million euro from 2.89 million euro on Tuesday. Bonds generated just 74,700 euro of Tuesday's turnover compared to 642,200 euro on Monday.
