LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 11 (SeeNews) – Slovenian share indices rose on Friday in higher turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index added 0.95%, finishing at 1,048.38 and the broader SBI20 advanced by 1.31% to 4,256.11 points.
On Thursday, the SBITOP added 0.30% and the SBI20 also rose by the same margin.
Six of the eight SBITOP components gained ground and two closed lower on Friday.
Rubber-to-tourism holding company Sava closed 1.68% lower at an average price of 228.04 euro ($331.6) while brewer Pivovarna Lasko fell 2.91% to 29 euro.
Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor, the nation's second biggest lender by assets, was the biggest gainer and the most liquid company on Friday as 20,528 of its shares changed hands. The stock closed 3.75% higher at 11.90 euro.
LJSE's total turnover rose to 7.2 million euro from Thursday’s 3.11 million euro.
