December 1 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices closed higher on Tuesday as turnover also rose, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index rose 0.63% to 1,013.16 points, while the broader SBI20 closed up 0.68% at 4,207.67 points.
On Monday, the SBITOP fell 0.16% and the SBI20 edged up 0.04%.
Five of the seven LJSE blue chips ended higher on Tuesday, and two fell.
Retailer Mercator led the SBITOP decliners, closing down 0.42% at an average price of 163.77 euro ($246).
Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor paced the SBITOP gainers and it was the most traded stock in a volume of 16,852 shares. It closed 2.24% higher at an average daily price of 12.35 euro.
LJSE's total turnover rose to 1.65 million euro from Monday's 1.4 million euro.
