December 8 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices extended their losses on Wednesday, while turnover quadrupled, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index closed 0.35% down to 1,000.04 points and the broader SBI20 index fell 0.64% to 4,121.41 points.
On Tuesday, the SBITOP closed down 0.69% and the SBI20 ended 0.71% lower.
Six of the seven LJSE blue chips closed lower on Wednesday.
Fuel retailer Petrol was the only gainer. Its shares ended at an average price of 314.90 euro ($464), 0.23% up from the previous close.
Blue-chip Telekom Slovenije led the SBITOP decliners, closing down 0.97% at an average price of 136.25 euro.
Drug maker Krka was the most liquid stock with a traded volume of 13,863 shares. The company shares fell 0.34% to an average price of 66.84 euro.
LJSE's total turnover jumped to 3.7 million euro from Tuesday's 946,980 euro.
