December 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices rose in lower turnover on Wednesday, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index ended 0.76% up at 982.67 points, while the broader SBI20 index closed 1.01% higher at 4,078.64 points. On Tuesday, the SBITOP closed 0.32% down and the SBI20 ended 0.12% lower.
Six of the seven LJSE blue chips closed higher on Wednesday. Telekom Slovenije was the only decliner, edging down 0.09% and closing at an average daily price of 134.66 euro ($193).
Drug producer Krka led the blue-chip gainers, closing 1.51% higher at an average daily price of 64.04 euro and was the most liquid stock in a volume of 7,221 shares.
LJSE's total turnover fell to 1.6 million euro from Tuesday's 2.1 million euro.
The bourse will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to the New Year holidays.
