August 20 (SeeNews) - Slovenian share indices turned higher on Thursday with the country's largest brewer, Pivovarna Lasko, boosting turnover, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index of the LJSE rose 0.71% to 1,031.56 points and the broader SBI20 index rose 0.81% to 4,180.41 points.
On Wednesday, the SBITOP edged down 0.03% and the SBI20 fell by 0.12%.
Seven of Slovenia's eight blue chips ended higher. Retailer Mercator was the only standout, edging down 0.02% to an average daily price of 160.38 euro ($226).
Pivovarna Lasko was the biggest SBITOP gainer and the most traded share on Thursday, adding 2.18% to an average daily price of 30.04 euro in a volume of 613,917 shares.
LJSE's total turnover rose to 19.5 million euro from Wednesday's 1.245 million euro.
