August 11 (SeeNews) - Slovenian stock indices ended mixed on Tuesday as turnover dropped sharply, data of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) showed.
The blue-chip SBITOP index of the LJSE ended 0.17% lower at 1,028.99 points and the broader SBI20 index edged up 0.02% to 4,174 points.
On Monday, the SBITOP lost 0.14% and the SBI20 fell 0.26%.
Half of the eight SBITOP components gained ground and the rest turned lower on Tuesday.
Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor (NKBM), the nation's second biggest lender by assets, was the most liquid company on the market on Tuesday. A total of 13,997 NKBM shares changed hands, rising 1.79% to 11.92 euro ($16.8).
Pivovarna Lasko was the worst performer on the SBITOP, falling 3.62% to 28.79 euro in a volume of 874 stocks.
LJSE's total turnover dropped to 1.713 million euro from 61.9 million euro on Monday. Trade in bonds accounted for 167,420 euro of Tuesday's turnover.
