September 30 (SeeNews) - Slovenian producer of photovoltaic panels Bisol d.o.o. said on Wednesday it has launched a subsidiary in Belgium in a bid to expand its sales network and plans to set up a unit in Italy by the end of the year.

“This year Bisol plans to set up a subsidiary company in Italy as well. In the near future, most likely in 2011, part of production activities will be set up in the United States,“ the statement said.
The company's sales strategy is focused on ensuring long-term growth, whilst the main aim is to substantially increase brand recognition and strengthen its position, both abroad and in Slovenia, it added.
The company’s crystalline photovoltaic modules are designed for both commercial and residential applications, for grid-connected and stand-alone systems.
Bisol, founded in 2006, is located near the central city of Celje.
