LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 16 (SeeNews) – Slovenian brewer Pivovarna Lasko [LJE:PILR] said on Wednesday its subsidiary Pivovarna Union has completed the sale of its 57.63% stake in Kosovo’s peer Birra Peja.
The shareholding in Birra Peja and its receivables were acquired by Kosovo’s Devolli Group, Pivovarna Lasko said in a bourse filing.

The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
The divestment is a milestone in Lasko Group's financial restructuring process, as defined with the creditor banks, thus the group is maintaining and boosting its core activity of beer brewing in both Slovenian breweries, Pivovarna Lasko and Pivovarna Union, it said.
The group posted consolidated earnings before interest, depreciation and amortisation (EBIDTA) of 35 million euro ($47.5 million) and revenues of 170 million euro in 2013.
