July 31 (SeeNews) - Serbia's Leskovac city government has said it signed a 417 million dinars ($4.1 million /3.5 million euro) agreement with Serbian civil engineering company Kostag for the construction of a sewage collector.
The project is funded by the Serbian environment ministry and includes the construction of a sewage collector with a length of 5,150 metres, the Leskovac city government said in a statement on Thursday.
The city government also signed a 46.5 million dinars contract with Beohidro for the delivery of supervisory services on the construction project, the Leskovac city government said.
The construction works will last for 22 months, the city government added.
In May, the head of the EU delegation to Serbia, Sem Fabrizi, said the European Union will allocate financing of 65 million euro for the construction of a water purification plant in Leskovac, Kraljevo, Brus, Blace and Nis.
