February 12 (SeeNews) - Serbian state-run airport operator Aerodromi Srbije signed a 10 million dinars ($93,000/85,100 euro) agreement with local company Gradjing for the construction of a hangar at Rosulje airport, the Krusevac city government said.
The construction of the hangar, with a footprint of about 600 sq m, is expected to be completed within 60 days, the Krusevac city government said in a statement earlier this week.
Gradjing won a tender for the construction of the hangar in January, according to a notice posted on the website of Aerodromi Srbije last month.
Aerodromi Srbije is currently building an 800 metre grass runway and a 1,300 metre hard surface runway at Rosulje airport, which will allow it to handle aircraft with a wingspan of 15 to 24 metres.
Serbian civil engineering group Tehnogradnja started building the Rosulje airport in June 2017 under a contracti signed with the Krusevac city government. In January, Aerodromi Srbije took over the management of the airport from the city government.
Rosulje airport, covering an area of 40.83 hectares, is located 2 km south from the city of Krusevac in central Serbia.
