BELGRADE (Serbia), October 16 (SeeNews) – Banca Intesa Beograd, the Serbian unit of Italian lender Intesa Sanpaolo, said it booked a profit of 5.511 billion dinars ($46.6 million/12.8 million euro) in the first half of 2018, up 16.4% on the year.
The bank's net interest income came in at 9.866 billion dinars, up 4.8%, while net fee and commission income rose 9.8% to 3.33 billion dinars, according to the interim financial statement of the lender posted on its corporate website.
The Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of Banca Intesa Beograd amounted to 21.31% at the end of June.
The loan portfolio of Banca Intesa Beograd stood at 343.7 billion dinars, while deposits amounted to 431.4 billion dinars at the end of the first half.
Elsewhere in Southeastern Europe (SEE), Intesa Sanpaolo is present in Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Romania and Albania.
