July 12 (SeeNews) - Serbia's average annual consumer price inflation slowed to 1.5% in June, from 2.2% in May, official statistics show.
On a monthly comparison basis, Serbia's consumer price index (CPI) fell by 0.3% in June, after decreasing by 0.3% in May, according to figures published on the website of the national statistical office.
Prices of recreation and culture grew by 3.1% month-on-month in June, while education costs rose 0.3%.
Prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages declined by 1.0% in June.
Serbia's average annual consumer price inflation slowed to 2.0% last year from 3.0% in 2017.
