BELGRADE (Serbia), October 30 (SeeNews) – Serbia’s biggest bank by assets, a unit of Italy’s Banca Intesa, reported a surge of 158% in its nine-month net profit to 3.015 billion dinars ($56.3 million/39.1 million euro), the country’s central bank said late on Monday.
The bank's assets totalled 156.4 billion dinars at the end of September.
The second biggest bank by assets was the Serbian unit of Austria’s Raiffeisenbank, followed by the unit of Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank.
