BELGRADE (Serbia), October 15 (SeeNews) – Serbia’s oil monopoly NIS has awarded a $70 million (47 million euro) contract to Dutch-based CB&I to upgrade its Pancevo oil refinery, CB&I said on Thursday.
"The scope of work awarded to CB&I includes detailed engineering, procurement services, construction management and commissioning for the hydrocracker/hydrotreater unit and the associated support units, auxiliary and offsites systems,” CB&I said in a statement.
CB&I is currently constructing a similar hydrocracker/hydrotreater unit in Croatia, it added.
The company, which has 17,000 employees worldwide, designs, engineers and constructs energy infrastructure projects. It executes more than 600 projects annually.
