January 26 (SeeNews) - Serbia's economy ministry will support local micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) with 600 million dinars (5.1 million euro) in non-refundable aid, it said.
Through the Fostering Entrepreneurship Through Development Projects programme, the economy ministry will distribute 350 million dinars, it said in a statement on Tuesday.
The economy ministry will also allocate 150 million dinars to funds supporting startups and a further 100 million dinars to the Youth Entrepreneurship scheme and the Women Entrepreneurship Support Programme, it added.
The country's Development Fund will provide additional funds and back all three programs through loans, the statement read.
Public calls for support will remain open until the funds are utilised.
